If you are sexually active you are at risk of contracting HIV or STDs. The most common STDs often have no symptoms and can only be diagnosed through testing. You can contract an STD and never even know until serious health complications arise. You can also unknowingly place your partner at risk.

Gateway offers free HIV/STD testing through Wake County Human Services. If you have engaged in any kind of sexual activity, you and your partner(s) should get tested.
